Suzie is a 450hr certified yoga teacher, veggie enthusiast, Ayurveda & wellness fan and owner Peanut, the scruffiest Jack Russell in London.

She teaches what she knows and loves: a creative, transformative and freeing yoga practice which draws together the many different styles and influences she has encountered so far across the infinite spectrum of the yoga world.

She mashes up playful dynamic mandala vinyasa, with a deep respect and rather geeky interest in alignment and anatomy, and a grounded, light hearted approach to yoga, mindfulness and life in general.

She has found incredible power in learning to breathe and move fully, simply and naturally – so teaches this as a golden tool to strip away the funks, hang-ups and frazzled feeling that cluttered modern life can bog us down with.

Suzie mindfully sequences her classes to help melt inhibitions and find balance, intuitively adapting her classes to suit the needs of the wonderful people she gets to teach in group classes and more particularly, in private one-to-one sessions. There will always be space for silence, a few cracking tunes, some pretty sweaty movements, and some slow, deep releasing postures.

Suzie believes yoga is a bit like food (another of the other loves of her life) – everyone has a unique preference of taste, flavour and texture and there is a different dish to nourish and satisfy every single soul.

Although it all started with the body, her own yoga practice now goes far beyond the asana (postures) and inspires her to live a full, colourful life, so she likes to pepper this into her classes with little gems of the deeper essence of yoga.

… to her many incredible teachers who she continues to learn from everyday. Her first teacher, the beautiful soul Marianne Wells, guided her through her first 200 hour foundational yoga training in dreamy Costa Rica.

She has since learnt endless practical yoga teaching and life lessons from her wonderful friends and teachers Michael James Wong and Emily-Clare Hill, both via their 50 hour post-grad mentoring course and from the yoga community they created Sunday School Yoga, which she now also helps to organise as a School Captain.

In 2017 she experienced a further 200 hours of advanced learning in Yin & Aryurveda and Mandala Flow & Shamanism with the renowned The Yoga People during a life changing month long immersion in Goa, India.

Suzie is currently feeding her teaching and her soul under the guidance of Naomi Absalom who runs Liberate & Elevate, a brilliant mentoring programme to nurture and develop existing yoga teachers.

Suzie has endless love and gratitude for the yoga community which continues to inspire her every day.

…Suzie is also a true foodie, and fuels her busy yoga obsessed life with a colourful, plant-based diet. She has been lucky enough to share this passion at Yoga Brunch and Supper events, by creating yoga and food filled Hen and Birthday parties, and cooking up big bountiful spreads for Good Yoga Life at both their Yoga Supper Clubs and also at their amazing yoga retreats in Ibiza!

If you’re interested in booking a 1-2-1 or studio class, having yoga brought to your workplace, or having some healthy colourful vegan food supplied for an event or gathering, then contact Suzie here.

Dancers Pose Yoga on a mountain in Peru!Developing an incurable and unexpected yoga habit was the start of a health and wellness obsession which led me leave my office job in Marketing and train as a Hatha Vinyasa yoga teacher with the Marianne Wells Yoga School in Costa Rica.

After my training I travelled south through Central and South America, teaching yoga at guest houses and hostels whilst exploring my passions for fitness, superfoods and art via the vibrant Latin American culture: from brewing Kombucha at an Eco Farm in Panama, to painting wall murals in Colombia and finally teaching yoga and hosting healthy foodie events in Buenos Aires.

Returning to the UK in February 2016, I’ve been on a mission ever since to spread my passion for living ‘Life In Full Colour’ by bringing fun and uplifting Vinyasa yoga classes, healthy food and general good vibes to wherever I can.

People often ask me about my journey from feeling uninspired in my office job and being hooked on nights out and Maccy D’s to falling in love with yoga and green smoothies and starting a whole new life. If you’re intrigued then you can read more about my journey to becoming health obsessed here. Also, if you’re thinking about doing yoga teacher training and have any questions or just want to chat then pop me an email and let’s meet for a coffee 🙂
