SPINACH, AVOCADO & MORINGA PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

One of the biggest challenges of this yoga teaching biz is listening to your own advice. However many times I have encouraged mindfulness and remaining present through my classes, and however many ‘Just Be’ quote images I share on Instagram, I still frequently find myself scurrying through London, darting from class to class, forgetting which direction I’m meant to be heading and winding up as a confused mess in yoga leggings… ‘Just Be’ing on the wrong branch of the Northern Line.

Moringa Smoothie Love

On days like this lunch fades into insignificance and I end up nibbling on popcorn or handfuls of nuts to keep myself fuelled until an inevitably late lunch. But however late it might get, I will ALWAYS find time to feast… ALWAYS breaking the hunger with the greenest, thickest, most protein and nutrient packed smoothie imaginable. This is where making smoothies starts to look like some weird science experiment, as every powder and superfood gets scooped into the blender to find the most energising and awesome combo possible. Current flavour of the month getting double scooped into my smoothies is gorgeously green moringa.

So what’s moringa? Well, it comes from the leaves of the morninga tree (astonishingly) and is one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet.
